The Riedel Vinum Cabernet / Merlot / Bordeaux wine glass is ideal for
full-bodied, complex red wines that are high in alcohol and tannins. The
generous size allows the wine to aerate in the glass and the bouquet to
develop fully. The shape of the rim directs the flow of the wine to the
front palate to enhance sweetness, thus accentuating the fruit while
softening bitter tannins. |

Billings, MT family owned winery producing a limited number of cases each year.
The winery is located in a historic building in downtown Pullman, WA.
We have tasted all of these

Malbec Malbec Malbec !!!
Malbec is a lesser known varietal used throughout the wine
making industry for blending in Bordeaux wines to improve color.
Its' intense color and extracts add to the wine's body. It is used
as a primary grape in the inky red wines of the Cahors region of France
and in some Argentine reds. Malbecs can be fairly deep in
color with dark berry flavors and a fair amount of tannin.
There is a lot of Malbec planted in Argentina, and we see
it included in many of the Bordeaux-style blends of California. It can
taste softer and more round than Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine
pictured here is a new wine in the store and is an Argentinean Malbec.
Come in and ask for a Malbec to try with a pepperoni pizza
- you will be pleasantly surprised at how well this wine stands up to the
bold pepperoni and cheese of a good pizza!! |
